	Welcome to Stonemeadow Labradors! David and I were both raised in “doggie” families; his favoring German Sheppards and mine Labrador Retrievers. Hence, it was no surprise that our newly created family contained one of each within the first year of marriage. Having made the decision to become more deeply involved in the dog world, we slowly made the transition from dog owners to dog breeders, with the Labradors fitting more readily into our growing family. Our children, raised side by side with our pups, have experienced the joys these animals provide while providing the pups with the essential socialization that they require. We are a small hobby kennel; our dogs are our pets first. They roam the ten acre “mini” farm we live on with two horses, two ducks, and a token cat, often chasing balls and swimming in the pond. This natural environment, combined with our genetically tested breeding stock, allows us to raise sound, healthy, happy pups that easily assimilate themselves into the lives of their new families.
